Private Household Resilience Advisory

When it matters most,
you are held.

Held Advisory Group designs preparedness systems for private households — covering physical supply infrastructure, documentation of valuables, and family continuity planning.

The Problem.

Most households have hidden gaps.

Documentation

Most households have no pre-loss asset records. Insurance claims without documentation take longer, pay less, and generate more friction.

Evacuation

Without pre-designed evacuation protocols, people make poor decisions under stress — taking wrong routes, forgetting critical items, losing critical time.

Supplies without structure

Preparedness products are widely available. What they cannot provide is the decision logic, role clarity, and execution protocols that determine whether a household actually functions under disruption.

Structured systems.

Our Framework.

Pillar 1

Asset Documentation & Insurance-Readiness

Your assets are documented before disaster strikes so your claims are defensible, not disputed.

  • Pre-loss video documentation of valuable personal property

  • Categorized digital database with valuations

  • Cloud-redundant, multi-access storage

  • Insurance carrier liaison preparation

Pillar 2

Physical Resilience Infrastructure

Customized sourcing of supplies and professional installation, not a generic emergency kit you put in a closet and forget.

  • 14-day shelter-in-place supply staging

  • Customized grab-and-go kits per household member

  • Critical response equipment

  • Annual supply rotation and refresh

Pillar 3

Family Continuity & Execution Planning

Your family acts with structured clarity in the first critical hours.

  • Custom evacuation routes and protocols for every emergency scenario

  • Utility shutoff training for all adults

  • Written and tested role-assignment for emergency protocols

"Preparedness is not about anticipating catastrophe.

It is about removing ambiguity."

Our Process.

Held Advisory Group operates as a structured advisory practice. Every household engagement follows a defined process — designed to move efficiently, respect your time, and deliver a completed resilience system without placing the burden of coordination or follow-through on you.

1. Private Consultation

During a free private consultation, we assess your household’s preparedness and discuss your current resilience score. In a follow-up, we provide you with a menu recommended of services to help you get prepared quickly.

2. In-Home Assessment

Our CERT-trained advisors will meet you at your home, complete a thorough hazard assessment of your property, discuss any open questions regarding your household-specific needs, and complete a video documentation of your valuable assets in your home.

3. Documentation & Planning

Over the course of about two weeks, our advisors will source equipment and products for your physical resilience infrastructure and design the end-to-end encrypted documentation of your assets in coordination with your insurance carrier.

4. Implementation & Staging

Two weeks after the in-home assessment, Held’s installation team will meet you at your home and implement the resilience infrastructure elements.

5. Continuity Briefing

In the final step, our advisors will present to you a Household Resilience Binder documenting your resilience architecture, walk you through the family continuity protocols, practice key steps and role assignments, and hand over the insurance-ready documentation of your valuable assets.

You can get prepared in only two weeks.

Our Distinction.

Held vs. Emergency Kit Retailers

What retail preparedness provides: A curated inventory of emergency supplies. Organized, packaged, and ready to open. Appropriate for households that have no supplies and want a functional starting point.

What Held Advisory Group provides: A complete household resilience system — built around your property, your family structure, your insurance arrangements, and the specific hazard profile of your location. Supplies are one component of that system. They arrive staged, assigned, and integrated into an execution framework that tells every person in your household exactly what to do when activation is required.

The distinction is not between a cheap solution and an expensive one. It is between a product and a managed advisory relationship.

Held vs. Personal Assistants

What a personal assistant can do: Procure supplies from a recommended list. Organize and stage existing preparedness materials. Schedule annual kit reviews. Coordinate vendor appointments. Maintain a system that has already been designed and documented.

These are meaningful contributions. A household whose assistant actively maintains a resilience system is better positioned than one whose system sits untouched in a closet.

What a personal assistant cannot do: Conduct a CERT-aligned hazard assessment of your property and location. Design evacuation routing calibrated to the specific congestion patterns and fire behavior of your risk zone. Build pre-loss asset documentation structured for carrier alignment and claim defensibility. Establish the psychological authority within a household to drive family compliance — the specific dynamic that determines whether an evacuation framework is actually followed under stress, or abandoned in favor of improvised individual decisions.

Held vs. Professional Organizers

What professional organizers can do: A skilled professional organizer brings order to physical spaces with precision and care. They can stage your preparedness supplies, create clear storage systems, and ensure your household's emergency materials are accessible and well-maintained. For households that already have a designed resilience system in place, an organizer is a valuable partner in keeping it current.

What Held Advisory Group provides: Where professional organizing ends at physical order, Held begins with hazard strategy — a CERT-aligned property assessment, evacuation routing calibrated to your specific risk environment, and the decision architecture that determines how your household responds under pressure.

Where professional organizing has no relationship with your insurance arrangements, Held builds pre-loss asset documentation structured for carrier alignment and claim defensibility.

And where professional organizing requires the homeowner to supply the expertise and follow-through, Held is an end-to-end implementation partner. One engagement. A completed system.
